About Energetic Explorations and Jen OC

Who is JenOC?

Jennifer Oborne Crolly, B.Ed., CBP brings over 30 years of experience offering healing support to Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. She also has 15 years in various areas of K-8 education.

As a settler, and as Lead Helper of Energetic Explorations, she works towards Reconciliation by creating in-person and virtual healing programs that bring about observable change in physical, mental and emotional health while grounding stressed nervous systems.

Her offerings are safe, gentle and effective in softening the experience of complex trauma, growing safety and supporting well being. Jen brings kind, calming, meaningful support that awakens the capacity in individuals, groups, and initiatives to grow into new ways of being. From the gifts of over 20 years of walking in Indigenous community, Jen brings a decolonizing approach and heart to her work.

A Little on Jen’s Story?

I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty 1 Territory… on living land that has been cared for by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years before the arrival of my ancestors…

When I was 4 years old… I knew who I was and why I was here. I knew it was to be something between a teacher, a doctor, and a psychologist. Someone who could see inside people… see their beauty, and could both help them to see that, and to let go of the parts of them that were not true. I couldn’t express that and had never seen it in my outside world… So, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said, “An archeologist.”

Close enough…

Always a different and sensitive type, who found the outside world foreign and overwhelming at times, I found my way in quiet spaces, deep conversations, and fascinating learning about anything that ‘lit me up.’ Along the way I came across many perspectives on healing, and was strengthened by teachers, healers and ‘women further down the road than me’ to do the inner work that shows up on a daily basis.

And… I am grateful for it all.

No stories are as beautiful as the ones we unwind in ourselves… the ones that take us to knowing our goodness. I have walked many of mine, and now live great joy in helping others to do the same. Many of those journeys have changed me and awakened my heart to how we are to each other…. So much harm comes from so many of us not knowing that we are good… and by extension not recognizing the goodness and value inherent in others.

This world is at a place that invites us all to our healing… to awaken the best in ourselves… and to use it to help each other and this world we share.

The offerings here are my little part in this effort…

and I’m sure the 4-year-old is pleased.

The Blue Dragonfly

Dragonfly is connected with illusion and transformation. She challenges us to look at that which we accept as ‘reality’ and shine light on our illusions…so that we can see the same beauty and magic in ourselves, and in our reality, as in the iridescence of her wings.

Dragonfly can fly into the ‘crack of the universe’ and can open up cracks in our perceptions. She is a teacher who helps to shift perspective… to open up to both new ways of seeing… and to the possibility of new, and healthier, ways of being.

This is consciousness work… It is our consciousness that directs all types of form and function in our Self and in our relationships…when we experience change at this level, it can be expressed in changes to our anatomy and physiology, in our behavioural patterns, in the emotions that drive us, in our ‘automatic responses’ to life’s offerings and challenges. and in how we interact with all that surrounds us.

Dragonfly is a lovely guide for this work…

and the four year old loved them.

Jennifer is a gifted healer who works tirelessly for the People. She brings care and good-heartedness to her work. She knows how to meet people and walk with them on a pathway of growth. I have seen her work with many students and parents with significant needs over the years. She is able to support Indigenous people on journeys of self-identity and healing and has been a positive force in the lives of families.”

I would absolutely place my trust in Jen’s healing hands. She has offered healing support to the womyn of the MoonLodge for years, bringing such a calm presence and deep insight into the work she does. It is so precious for these womyn to have someone who listens and allows them to share their stories without judgement. I would trust Jen with my life.”
